The data is interpreted and fed into the machines as cutting and drilling instructions, eliminating the possibility of human error. Production managers in the planning room are also connected to the SDS-2 database. With computer terminals and ultra-fast printers, they are able to plan workflows and print detailed shop drawings to guide the work of welders and other assembly workers.
