Jean-René Bouchard joined Supermétal in 1984 as project manager, a position he held until 1995. Jean-René Bouchard has been construction manager for Supermétal in Alberta since 2003. His responsibilities have broadened to all of Canada since 2004.
In his role as project manager, he is called upon to work both on the site and in the offices where structural steel fabrication and erection takes place. As construction manager, he is responsible for sales and bids. His varied projects range from industrial work to institutional and commercial undertakings across Canada and New England.
A graduate of the University of Quebec at Trois-Rivieres, where he studied management, metallurgy and cost control, Jean-René Bouchard has taken several other specialized courses in his field.
