What is Supermetal’s capacity?
Our four plants have a combined annual capacity of 60,000 tons, and each plays a complementary role within our organization. The St.Romuald plant is geared for large-scale production of light, medium and heavy beams, while our Sherbrooke plant is specifically equipped for extra heavy and large beams.
The traveling cranes at the Sherbrooke plant have a lifting capacity greater than 100 tons. Our Leduc (Edmonton) plant serves Western North America with the same quality standards that have been the source of our Quebec plants' success.
Our most recent shop opened in January 2011. It has a capcity of 15,000 tons and the shop is situated in South Carolina, in the city of Rock Hill, as part of our growth strategy.
